Natural, Certified Organic, Biodynamic & Fair Trade Ingredients

Ladies Blend product line is comprised of natural and certified organic ingredients.  These exquisite and high quality ingredients are sourced and gathered from their native origins, and purchased by Ladies Blend from our US suppliers.  Several of these ingredients are also fair trade and biodynamic certified.  

The herbs utilized in our products are unsurpassed, healthy, fresh, (not from warehouse stock) and are either Certified Organic (99%) or ethically Wildharvested. They are rich and beautiful in color and aroma and are analyzed for quality and true botanical identity.

Our essential oils, absolutes and CO2's are collected and processed using a variety of methods.  They are utilized in our products for therapeutic purposes and pleasing aromas. 

Pristine Oils

The vegetable oils utilized are extracted using two different but both highly regarded methods. Cold pressed, ensuring that the extraction heat never goes above 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit and expeller pressed, a natural, mechanical extraction where a small amount of heat is produced usually around 120-200 degrees Fahrenheit, and its molecular state is fairly undisturbed. Each oil is used for its key nutrients and wonderful healing properties; they go through strict screening procedures and are analyzed and sampled by quality control experts.

Beautiful Butters

The vegetable butters used are all 100 percent naturally sourced and contain no fillers or preservatives. The Shea Butter is exquisite, exceptional, superior quality East African Shea Butter from Uganda, it is organic and cold pressed, retaining all of its very valuable properties.

Organic Agriculture

The role of organic agriculture, whether in farming, processing, distribution, or consumption, is to sustain and enhance the health of ecosystems and organisms from the smallest in the soil to human beings. Organic farming is also associated with support for principles beyond cultural practices, such as fair trade and environmental stewardship.

Organic Certification

A certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products. It includes avoidance of synthetic chemical inputs (e.g. fertilizer, pesticides, antibiotics, food additives, etc) and genetically modified organisms; use of farmland that has been free from chemicals for a number of years (often, three or more); keeping detailed written production and sales records (audit trail); maintaining strict physical separation of organic products from non-certified products; undergoing periodic on-site inspections. Certified organic producers are also subject to the same agricultural, food safety and other government regulations that apply to non-certified producers.

Biodynamic Agriculture

Comprises an ecological and sustainable farming system. It is the oldest consciously organic approach to farming and gardening and is one of the most sustainable in existence. It is founded on a holistic and spiritual understanding of nature and the human being and builds on the pioneering research work of Rudolf Steiner.

Fair Trade

An organized social movement which promotes equitable standards for international labour, environmentalism, and social policy in areas related to the production of labelled and unlabelled goods, which may range from handcrafts to agricultural commodities. Fair trade works towards an alternative trading system of ethical goods enabling economic development and offering better trading conditions for producers and workers in developing countries.
